The people behind Purdie’s of Argyll

Meet our lovely team of organic skincare makers and sellers. We’re all based on the West Coast of Scotland, with our production team in Oban and shop team in Inveraray.

 

Our Inveraray shop team

Diana

Diana works at our Inveraray shop and is very knowledgeable about organic skincare and beauty. Before joining the Purdie’s team, Diana worked in the NHS for 23 years, eventually focusing on aesthetics because of her growing interest in skincare.

You’ll notice that Diana’s accent isn’t local – she’s originally from England, and like so many people was so charmed by the beauty and magic of the West Coast of Scotland that she made it her home. Diana likes going to rock gigs, reading about history, gardening and looking out over Loch Fyne.

Jackie

Jackie also works at our wee shop in Inveraray. She champions the ethical stance of Purdie’s and loves helping re people see the benefits of skincare that’s organic and cruelty-free (not tested on animals).

Jackie is a relative newcomer to Inveraray and has taken to the area like a duck to water and enjoys helping visitors get the most out of their time on the beautiful West Coast of Scotland.

Gavin

Gavin is our founder. When he’s not working on the business in Glasgow, he can often be found at our Inveraray shop or our production unit in Oban – usually with cake!

Gavin is endlessly proud of the Purdie’s of Argyll team and the range of organic skincare and beauty products they’ve created together, and is always thinking of new ways to improve the range.

When he’s not working on Purdie’s of Argyll, he enjoys collecting (and drinking) malt whisky, exploring Scotland, travelling the world, reading, and going to the cinema, theatre and gigs.
